Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned that Russian leader Vladimir Putin has effectively triggered a global conflict, describing the ongoing war as the beginning of “World War III.”

Zelensky argued that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has implications far beyond Eastern Europe, affecting global security, energy supplies, and international stability.

He stressed that if Russia is not stopped, the conflict could escalate further and draw more nations directly into the crisis. Zelensky also called for continued military and diplomatic support from Western allies, warning that any sign of weakness could embolden Moscow.

The remarks come amid intensified fighting and renewed international debates over military aid and sanctions against Russia.

The war, which began in 2022, has already led to massive displacement, economic disruption, and heightened tensions between Russia and NATO-aligned countries.
