Four Arrested After Teen Killed in Stoke

Four people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a teenage boy was killed and another left critically injured in an attack in Stoke-on-Trent, England.

Teenager dies at scene

Staffordshire Police said officers were called to reports of violence on Brookhouse Road, in Meir, at 23:45 BST on Friday. A man in his late teens was pronounced dead at the scene, while another teenager was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. He remains in a critical but stable condition.

Four suspects in custody

Police arrested two 18-year-old men, a 20-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy, all from Stoke-on-Trent, on suspicion of murder. The 17-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. All four remain in police custody as investigations continue.

Police reassure community

Detective Inspector Katie Gregory described the incident as a devastating event for everyone affected. She reassured residents that there was no wider risk to the community and said officers were working to establish the circumstances surrounding the attack. Police have urged anyone with information that could assist the investigation to come forward. A cordon remains in place on Brookhouse Road.
