Tyla performed at Zénith Paris–La Villette, sharing a video of the show with her fans, known as the Tygers. Dressed in neon colours reflecting the visual theme of her APOP* album, she performed “That Girl” from her second studio album.

Royal MusiQ Joins European Dates

South African DJ and producer Royal MusiQ has joined Tyla as an opening act and special guest during the European leg of the tour. He shared a video of himself dancing on stage in Paris, celebrating the opportunity on social media. “Paris got the first chapter. Had to leave my mark. Love to @tyla for having me. A*POP is in motion. Europe, I like where this is going,” he wrote.

Tyla Dances to Protest Chant

Tyla also attracted attention after a moment during her Paris performance when the crowd began chanting “Macron démission,” meaning “Macron, resign,” in reference to French President Emmanuel Macron. In a video shared on social media, the singer appeared briefly confused before catching the rhythm and dancing along with the chant.

European Tour Continues

Tyla’s European tour continues with a scheduled stop in Amsterdam on October 13, followed by London on October 16. Further performances are planned across mainland Europe and Scandinavia as the 34-date tour progresses.
