Akwasi Boadi, popularly known as Akrobeto, a veteran Ghanaian actor and TV host, was involved in a car accident. The incident occurred on Friday, May 23.

The accident took place near Konongo on the Accra-Kumasi highway, a route known for heavy traffic and frequent accidents. Akrobeto was reportedly en route to Kumasi when the accident happened.
According to initial reports and eyewitnesses, Akrobeto’s vehicle collided with a large truck, but the exact cause of the accident is still being investigated.
After being discharged from the hospital, Akrobeto shared that he’s doing fine according to the doctors. The person who was with him during the accident is also reportedly okay.
Akrobeto expressed his gratitude to family and loved ones for their well wishes during his difficult time. He appreciated the support he received from them.
Due to the accident, Akrobeto announced that he’ll be taking a temporary break from hosting his show “Real News” on UTV. The management of the TV station advised him to take a day off to focus on his recovery before resuming work.
