Allegations of Crimes Against Humanity

Former Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) president Joseph Kabila is facing a treason trial that has drawn national and international attention. Civil parties involved in the case are demanding almost $25 billion in reparations, alleging that Kabila played a central role in orchestrating violence in the country’s eastern regions.
