With this victory, Morocco becomes the first African nation to win the U-20 title since Ghana national under-20 football team in 2009. The triumph also underscores Africa’s growing dominance in youth football.

Argentina, which had been unbeaten throughout the tournament, fell short in its bid for a record-extending seventh title.
