In a union that will be remembered for ages, Afrobeat sensation Davido exchanged vows with his longtime partner, Chioma, in a series of lavish pre-wedding celebrations leading up to their white wedding.

The couple’s pre-wedding party, themed “Havana Nights,” was held in Miami, Florida, on August 8, 2025. Davido and Chioma made a stylish appearance, with Davido rocking a cowboy hat and a casual look, while Chioma stunned in a white cut-out dress.
The guest list included prominent figures from the entertainment industry, such as Adekunle Gold, Zlatan Ibile, Teni, and Tunde Ednut. Edwina Akufo-Addo, daughter of former Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo, was also in attendance.
The couple’s journey has been marked by joy and challenges as they faced a rough patch in 2021 due to rumors surrounding Davido’s personal life, and tragically lost their first son, Ifeanyi, in a drowning incident in 2022. Despite the challenges, they have continued to build a life together, legalizing their marriage in March 2023, welcoming twins later that year, and holding a traditional wedding in Lagos in June 2024.
The white wedding is expected to be a grand affair, with a reported budget of $3.7 million. The couple has been preparing for the wedding, which was announced earlier in the year.
