At the age of 61, the rap icon took part in a thrilling Global World Championship bout at the Bukom Boxing Arena, where he stunned fans by defeating his younger opponent, William Adom, via submission.

“If you’ve known me for over 50 years, you’d know I started martial arts before music. I was the youngest Shotokan brown belt and a two-time junior Taekwondo champion,” he shared.
Reggie’s decision to take on the challenge was not only a personal test but also a mission to inspire Ghana’s youth and promote the country’s growing MMA scene. “I want to use my celebrity status to build MMA in Ghana and show that age shouldn’t be a barrier to pursuing new goals,” he said.
