DJ, producer, and hitmaker T-Man SA real name Thando Magaguleย has opened up about the journey and inspirations behind his new album, Second Move.
The project marks what he describes as his next chapter as an artist, building on years of growth, experimentation, and self-belief.
From โSuccessโ to Second Move
Ahead of the release, T-Man SA dropped the single โSuccessโ featuring Aymos. The track narrates his journey from humble beginnings to his current standing in the industry.
โThe whole album is personal to me because itโs where I come from and my experiences,โ he said. โIโve been patient, Iโve believed in myself, and now the work is showing.โ
Musical Growth and Spiritual Evolution
Since starting out in 2015, T-Man SA has moved through genres including Gqom, commercial house, and Amapiano, blending these influences into what he now calls a spiritual sound.
โIโd actually say this is a spiritual sound. I believe people will receive it the way I want them to receive it. This is my new style โ my new way of expressing myself.โ
The album carries elements of love, heartbreak, and hope โ designed to connect with listeners on multiple levels.

โGetting to 18 songs was a lot of work because so many were good. Cutting them was hard. I dropped 18 songs, but Iโm still planning to returnโฆ maybe a part two, a third move.โ

The album features collaborations with Mthandazo Gatya, Sykes, Sizwe Alakine, Professor, MacG, and Oskido.
One standout is โBalekaโ, a track brought together by podcaster-turned-producer MacG, who reached out to Professor and Sizwe Alakine to feature.
T-Man SA has also built a strong mentorship with legendary producer Oskido, who often calls him in for mixing and mastering. โSometimes he says, โI have this song, I need you here.โ Our relationship keeps growing.โ

As a producer, sound engineer, and performer, T-Man SA admits the workload can be heavy โ but passion keeps him going.
โWhen youโre doing something you love, even when itโs tiring, you donโt feel lazy for it. I enjoy this, so I always find time to manage everything.โ
