Israel’s military has warned it could target any future successor to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as tensions continue to rise in the ongoing Middle East conflict.

The warning came as a drone strike hit a government building in Kuwait, triggering a massive fire overnight. The incident is part of a series of attacks reported across the Gulf region as the war enters its second week.

In Iran, heavy aerial bombardments struck several oil depots in Tehran, with residents reporting multiple explosions during the night. Thick black smoke filled the sky by morning as fires burned through parts of the affected areas.

Videos circulating online showed streets in Tehran engulfed in flames after the oil depot was hit. Witnesses in the footage could be heard saying nearby homes and shops were on fire.

Meanwhile, Israel has issued evacuation warnings to residents in southern Lebanon, saying it plans to target positions linked to the Iran-backed group Hezbollah.

The latest attacks have heightened fears that the conflict could spread further across the Middle East.
