Ghana’s entertainment industry will today, Saturday, August 8 come together with family, friends and admirers to say a goodbye to the beloved actress and entrepreneur Beverly Afaglo Baah.
The funeral service is set for 7:00 a.m. At the forecourt of the State House in Accra. People from the creative arts industry her colleagues and well-wishers are expected to gather to honor her life and the legacy she left behind.
As part of the funeral ceremonies mourners will have a chance to walk past Beverly’s remains read messages of remembrance and show their respects before her private burial.
A thanksgiving service will take place on Sunday, August 9 at 9:00 a.m. At Action Chapel International in Tema. This service will bring her loved ones together to celebrate her life and to give thanks for the contributions she made to the arts.
Beverly Afaglo Baah passed away on May 24 2026 at the age of 42 after fighting cancer for two years. Her death happened four days before her 43rd birthday.
She was remembered for her acting talent for her kindness for her strength and for her business spirit. Her death has created a gap among her colleagues, friends and fans. People continue to share messages to honor the mark she made both on television and in business.
As Ghana says goodbye Beverly’s memory lives on through the people she inspired and, through the work she did in the country’s entertainment industry.
