This dance competition saw some of the most talented dance troupes from Northern Uganda compete for a slot in the final, which will be held in June in Kampala.

The Titan Dance Family from Bweyale was declared the first runner-up, with the Kingdom Dancers from Lira taking the third slot.

It involved electrifying performances involving acrobatics, amapiano dancing styles and Afro fusion, indicating how rapidly the dance culture is developing in Northern Uganda.

One of the judges said that the reason for the victory of Impactors Dance Unit is due to their stage chemistry.

“The level of Gulu is extremely high because each team had its own unique style of performing. With Impactors Dance Unit, their stage chemistry and connection with the audience really stood out,” he/she stated.

Also, there was entertainment by Ugandan artist Ray G, who sang such hits as Omusheshe, Yoya, Weeshe and Amarari.

According to the representatives of Tusker Lite, the Gulu edition is one true example of what Neon Raves represent.
