Veteran Nollywood actor Jim Iyke has started a conversation about the entertainment industry. He says it’s a space where people often focus more on themselves and their wealth than on their well-being.
In an interview, Jim Iyke said many parts of the entertainment world make people think they are more important than others. He thinks this is similar to the values of satanism. The actor said he used to think he was special because of all the attention he got from fans.
Sometimes people would even. Faint when they saw him. His spiritual journey helped him see that this was a form of self-worship. Jim Iyke believes that creatives can show Gods love through their work.
However he says the entertainment industry often makes people focus on being famous having an ego and glorifying themselves. He thinks it’s hard to connect with God in the entertainment industry because many people prioritize being successful and famous over values.
According to Jim Iyke being famous can make people think they are better than others and don’t have to answer to anyone. He emphasized that creativity is a gift from God. Jim Iyke encourages entertainers to stay humble and focused on their well-being instead of making themselves the center of attention.
