The collaboration marks a major milestone in Tyla’s global career and fulfills a wish she publicly shared with fans just two years ago.

In 2024, Tyla posted a fan-made Bratz-inspired image of herself on social media, saying she hoped to one day have an official Bratz doll. That dream has now become reality.

The limited-edition collector doll features two signature outfits inspired by the singer’s standout style.

The first recreates the stunning Balmain “Sands of Time” dress Tyla wore to her first Met Gala in 2024. The doll also includes a miniature version of the eye-catching hourglass-shaped handbag that completed the iconic look.

The second outfit reflects Tyla’s energetic stage style, featuring a sequinned mini skirt, matching crop top and a gold chain belt decorated with a Bratz charm.

The doll also captures one of Tyla’s most recognisable beauty trademarks—her braided bob hairstyle—which has become closely associated with the award-winning artist.

The announcement comes during an exciting period in Tyla’s career as she prepares to release her highly anticipated second studio album, “A*Pop,” on July 24.

The 14-track project includes previously released singles such as “Is It,” “She Did It Again,” and “Chanel,” and is expected to showcase another chapter in her evolving sound.

Fans will get their first chance to see the Bratz x Tyla collector doll in person at the Bratz pop-up shop inside FAO Schwarz at Rockefeller Plaza in New York on July 24, the same day her new album is released.

For Tyla, the partnership represents more than just merchandise.

It cements her place among a select group of global celebrities who have been honoured with their own Bratz dolls, highlighting her growing influence in both music and fashion.

Known for blending African-inspired style with contemporary global trends, Tyla has built a strong international identity that extends beyond her music.

The collaboration also reflects how her fashion choices have become just as influential as her chart-topping songs, with fans regularly recreating her looks online.

What started as a fan-created concept has now become an official collector’s item, celebrating Tyla’s remarkable rise from South Africa to the global stage.

As excitement builds for the release of “A*Pop,” the Bratz collaboration adds another memorable achievement to a year that continues to elevate Tyla’s international profile.
