Media personality Nana Aba Anamoah has expressed confidence that John Dumelo will retain the Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary seat in the next election.
Her comments came after a video surfaced showing aspiring parliamentary candidate Samuel Owusu Amankwaa interacting with residents during a grassroots outreach campaign in the constituency.
Reacting to the video on X, Nana Aba said the emergence of a new contender would not affect Dumelo’s position as the current Member of Parliament.
She maintained that Dumelo remains the preferred choice to continue representing the people of Ayawaso West Wuogon.
John Dumelo, who currently serves as the constituency’s MP, has remained active in community engagement and development initiatives since taking office.
Although Samuel Owusu Amankwaa has begun connecting with residents as part of his political ambitions, Nana Aba believes Dumelo still enjoys strong public support.
