South African star earns another major global recognition
Grammy-winning South African singer Tyla has added another major achievement to her growing international career after former US President Barack Obama included her collaboration with Zara Larsson, “She Did It Again,” on his Summer 2026 playlist.

Obama shared his annual summer playlist on social media on Thursday, July 30, giving fans a selection of songs he and former First Lady Michelle Obama are enjoying this summer.
The playlist features legendary artists including Marvin Gaye, Nina Simone and David Bowie alongside contemporary stars such as SZA, Drake and RAYE. Tyla’s collaboration with Larsson also earned a spot among the high-profile names.
