Judge strikes down urgent bid to halt Durban tribute, ordering Foundation members to pay costs
Plans for the βLebo M Presents: African Icons Tribute Concertβ in honour of the late cultural legend Dr Joseph Shabalala will go ahead after a last-minute legal bid to stop the event was dismissed.
The urgent application, brought by certain members of the Dr Joseph Shabalala Foundation, sought to block the concert but was struck off the court roll with costs.
Organisers Till Dawn Entertainment said they were served notice on the same day as the hearing, forcing them into a rushed response before the presiding judge dismissed the application.
Concert Goes Ahead

Lebo M, the concertβs Executive Producer, expressed disappointment at what he described as an attempt to sabotage the event, but welcomed the ruling.
βOur efforts to honour Dr Shabalala are rooted in love, legacy, and respect. This ruling reinforces our mission to celebrate his contributions,β he said.

It will bring together communities, artists, and fans for a night of music and cultural pride, paying tribute to the founder of Ladysmith Black Mambazo, whose legacy continues to inspire generations worldwide.

Your content is excellent but with pics and video clips, this blog could undeniably be one of the most beneficial in its field. Excellent blog!
