Davido reflected on the painful period following Ifeanyi’s passing, recalling, “That type of loss made you just be like, ‘I’m out’. I’m just going to chill, take care of my wife and family, and get my head right.”After Ifeanyi’s tragic drowning in 2022, Davido and Chioma stepped back from the public eye, got married privately, and welcomed twin babies a year later.Davido was struck by the uncanny resemblance between his late son and one of the twins, saying, “The boy looks just like my son that passed. It is scary… like literally him. We were like, ‘No, it’s him. He came back’.”

However, he expressed gratitude, adding, “To come back from that and be blessed with twins out the gate… it just shows God is real.”

This experience has transformed Davido, making him more compassionate, humble, and driven to spread positivity through his music and daily life.
