Russian National at Centre of Online Controversy in Kenya

New allegations about Russian citizen active in Kenya have emerged on the internet. The social media platforms of Kenya currently support a new Russian national allegation against Alex Ananasik which has resulted in a debate about online content creation and consent issues.

Online users have drawn comparisons between Ananasik and Yaytseslav Trahov whose previous controversy gained widespread attention across Kenyan digital platforms. Online commentators have identified Ananasik as the second Yaytseslav link although they have not discovered any official evidence that connects him to Yaytseslav. Unverified Online Claims Spark Debate Posts circulating online in mid-February 2026 allege that Ananasik recorded interactions with Kenyan women in areas including Roysambu in Nairobi as well as Mombasa and Mtwapa.

Some social media commentary suggests the possible use of concealed recording devices including smart glasses. However, these claims remain unverified and have not been confirmed by any court or law enforcement agency. The online community claims that the alleged encounters started when people met each other in public areas which included malls, beaches, nightlife spots, workplaces, and streets.

The viral posts claim that people continued their interactions in private spaces although no official proof has emerged. Allegations of Online Monetisation Additional online reports suggest that content from these alleged encounters may have been shared on foreign-hosted pick-up artist PUA forums private Telegram channels and subscription-based platforms such as OnlyFans.

The widespread circulation of claims about access to materials which required payment for usage remains unverified because authorities have not confirmed these reports. The online dispute has generated intense responses from social media users.
