Ghana Black Stars has established Bryant University as their official training facility for the upcoming FIFA World Cup. The university’s Smithfield campus will serve as the team’s training base for their upcoming match which will begin in less than four months.
Ocean State 2026 will present their partnership agreement during a press conference which will take place later this week to create a major benefit for the community. Bryant University became the selected site because the university provides high-quality sports training facilities while maintaining a quiet atmosphere, which allows the team to train without interruptions from busy urban areas.
The decision to establish their pre-tournament headquarters in Rhode Island was based on the availability of modern training pitches, on-campus accommodation facilities, and secure operational logistics. The Ghana team aims to prove their status as a top football nation through their tournament participation. The Black Stars must compete against tough opponents from Group L which includes.
England national football team – This team has won multiple international titles and continues to compete at a high level.
Croatia national football team – This team reached the finals of recent international tournaments because its players possess exceptional midfield skills.
Panama national football team – This team plays with discipline and wants to compete against top teams.
Ghana has participated in five World Cup tournaments, which demonstrates the country’s ongoing presence as a dominant force in African football. Their most unforgettable tournament occurred in 2010 when they advanced to the quarter-finals but suffered a dramatic and controversial defeat against the Uruguay national football team. The Black Stars chose to make their training base in Rhode Island because this location supports the international team strategy of training at superior training facilities.
