Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said military objectives in the ongoing conflict with Iran are “beyond halfway” complete, referring to operational progress rather than the timeline of the war.

His remarks come amid escalating tensions across the region, with fresh developments highlighting the widening impact of the conflict.

War Progress and Ongoing Strikes

Netanyahu indicated that Israel’s military campaign is advancing steadily, even as new strikes are reported in both Israel and Iran.

Parts of Tehran reportedly experienced temporary power outages following recent attacks, underscoring the intensity of the conflict.

Oil Tanker Incident in Dubai

In a separate development, a Kuwaiti oil tanker carrying millions of barrels of fuel caught fire after being struck while docked in Dubai.

Officials have blamed Iran for the incident. All 24 crew members on board were reported safe, and authorities confirmed the fire has since been brought under control.

Rising Global Energy Concerns

Iran is also moving ahead with plans to impose tolls on ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, a critical artery for global energy supplies.

The development raises further concerns about disruptions to oil markets and international shipping.

Trump Issues Fresh Threats

Meanwhile, Donald Trump has renewed warnings against Iran, threatening to target key infrastructure—including power plants, oil facilities, and potentially water systems—if an agreement is not reached soon.

Trump also claimed that “serious” discussions are underway, though Iranian officials have denied that any negotiations with the United States are taking place.

Escalating Uncertainty

With continued military activity, rising geopolitical tensions, and threats to global energy supply, the conflict shows little sign of easing as multiple nations remain on edge.
