Three teenagers have been charged with the murder of 16-year-old Chloe Dransfield, following an incident in Leeds.
Police said Chloe was found unconscious with stab wounds in the Austhorpe area of the city on Saturday morning, shortly before 6am. She was taken to hospital but later died from her injuries.
Charges and Arrests
Kayla Smith and Archie Rycroft, along with a 17-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons, have been charged with murder and remanded in custody.
They are due to appear before Leeds Magistrates’ Court.
Another 18-year-old man from the area has also been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.
Meanwhile, an 18-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy who were previously arrested have been released on bail while investigations continue.

West Yorkshire Police said officers were called to Kennerleigh Avenue in the early hours of Saturday following reports of a young woman found unconscious.

Chloe’s mother paid tribute to her daughter, describing her as loving, confident, and full of life. She said the loss has left a deep and irreplaceable void in the family, and that Chloe will always be remembered and missed.
