FIFA reveals star-studded World Cup final ceremony featuring Tom Cruise, Nicole Scherzinger and IShowSpeed
Hollywood stars, global musicians and internet personalities set to headline 2026 World Cup closing celebrations
FIFA has revealed an explosive line-up of global stars for the 2026 World Cup final closing ceremony, promising fans a spectacular mix of football, music and entertainment before the new champions are crowned.
The ceremony will take place on Sunday, July 19, at the New York New Jersey Stadium, marking the end of the biggest FIFA World Cup tournament in history.
A-list stars join football’s biggest night
Among the confirmed guests are Hollywood actor Tom Cruise, singer Nicole Scherzinger, Italian star Laura Pausini, British singer Robbie Williams and internet sensation IShowSpeed.
IShowSpeed, known for his viral football content and energetic personality, has become one of the most recognisable online figures during the tournament.
Award-winning singer and actress Jennifer Hudson will also perform the United States national anthem ahead of kick-off.
Celebrating a historic World Cup
The 2026 World Cup featured 48 teams competing across three host nations — Canada, Mexico and the United States — making it the largest edition of the tournament ever held.
FIFA said the closing ceremony will celebrate the cultures, music and unforgettable football moments that shaped the competition.
“Echoing the spirit of the opening ceremonies, the closing ceremony will bring the FIFA World Cup 2026 full circle through music, culture and football,” said Heimo Schirgi, FIFA World Cup 2026 chief operating officer.
More global stars expected for final showdown
The closing ceremony follows FIFA’s announcement of the first-ever World Cup final halftime show, featuring global artists including Justin Bieber, Burna Boy, Madonna, Shakira and BTS.
Curated by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, the halftime performance will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which focuses on expanding access to education and football opportunities for children worldwide.
With football’s biggest prize on the line and a record-breaking entertainment line-up planned, the 2026 World Cup final is set to be a historic global event.
