Love Island USA removes second contestant over resurfaced racial slur posts
A second contestant has been removed from Love Island USA after historical social media posts resurfaced showing the use of a racial slur, marking another controversy for the current season of the reality show.
Alannah Keyser was reportedly taken out of the villa after a video appeared to show her lip-syncing to the n-word in a song, alongside screenshots of alleged messages containing the same term. The posts, believed to have come from a private account, were not identified during the show’s pre-casting vetting process, according to US reports.
Keyser, who entered the villa during the Casa Amor twist, had only recently appeared on-screen before the show confirmed her exit, stating that she had “left Casa Amor.” She has not publicly commented on the situation.
Her removal comes shortly after another contestant was also taken out of the series for similar reasons, as scrutiny grows around background checks and online conduct of reality TV participants.
