Ghana and Manchester City forward Antoine Semenyo has married his longtime partner, British content creator and entrepreneur Jordeen Buckley in a private ceremony in Malibu, California.
The couple exchanged vows on Thursday, 8 October 2026, in the international break, celebrating a relationship that began in 2020. Semenyo and Buckley announced their marriage on social media, sharing wedding portraits and introducing themselves to fans as “Mr. & Mrs. Semenyo”.
Their relationship began when Semenyo was playing for Bristol City, ahead of his rise to prominence in English football. Buckley has supported him throughout his career, including his progress to the Premier League and appearances for Ghana’s Black Stars.
In November 2025, Semenyo proposed to Buckley in a setting decorated with giant roses, candles and heart-shaped floral arrangements. Almost a year later, the couple celebrated their wedding in the presence of close family members, friends and a select group of Semenyo’s teammates.
Buckley, 25, is a British content creator, model and entrepreneur. She owns Jrose Nail Bar in London and has more than 127,000 followers on Instagram. She has consistently supported Semenyo at key moments in his football career, including his appearances for Ghana and celebrations at the Professional Footballers’ Association Awards.
For the wedding, Buckley wore a white lace gown featuring a sculpted bodice, sheer sleeves, a sweeping train and a thigh-high slit. Semenyo wore a black tuxedo. The couple’s photographs also showed them posing beside a vintage Porsche and in elegant interiors.
The marriage comes as Semenyo continues his career at Manchester City. According to the supplied report, he joined the club in January 2026 on a contract running until 2031. The forward has made an encouraging start to the season, recording two goals and three assists in seven appearances across all competitions, the report says.
The wedding marks a new chapter for the Ghanaian international, whose football career has progressed from Bristol City to one of England’s leading clubs.
