Singer Marks Milestone Anniversary with Heartfelt Tribute to Her Husband

American singer Ciara is celebrating a decade of marriage to her husband, Russell Wilson, by releasing a new song dedicated to their love story.

The Grammy-winning artist marked the couple’s 10th wedding anniversary on Monday, July 6, with the release of her latest single, Yes.

According to reports, the song celebrates love, commitment and the joy of choosing the right partner through every stage of life.

A Celebration of Love and Commitment

Speaking about the new release, Ciara described “Yes” as a fun and uplifting anthem about choosing love every day.

“‘Yes’ is a fun, flirty, feel-good anthem of commitment and choosing love every single day,” the singer said in a statement.

“When you find the right person, saying yes isn’t just one moment, it’s something you continue to choose through every season of life.”

She added that releasing the song on their wedding anniversary was her way of reaffirming her love for Wilson.

“Releasing this song on our anniversary is a declaration that I would say yes again and again.”

A Heartfelt Anniversary Tribute

Beyond releasing new music, the 40-year-old singer also took to Instagram to celebrate the milestone with a touching message dedicated to her husband.

“Since the first day we met, we haven’t stopped laughing, dancing, dating, holding hands, being passionate, praying, forgiving, and having the best time of our lives,” she wrote.

“I remember saying yes like it was yesterday, and I would say yes all over again. Happy 10 Year Anniversary, Russell Wilson. I’m so proud of us. I love you so much.”

Her post featured several clips of the couple enjoying time together aboard a yacht, including footage of Ciara practising her golf swing while Wilson encouraged her.

The singer also shared never-before-seen moments from their wedding day.

Wilson also celebrated the anniversary by posting a heartfelt tribute to his wife.

“10 years ago you said YES. Yes to each other. Yes to God’s perfect plan for each other. Yes to four beautiful kids. Yes to love,” he wrote.

“A life full of joy, gratitude, forgiveness, laughter, smiles, some tears and a whole lot of love. Happy 10-year anniversary. I love you, Mrs. Ciara Princess Wilson.”

A Decade of Family and Happiness

Ciara and Wilson began dating in 2015 and tied the knot a year later during a private ceremony at Peckforton Castle in July 2016.

The couple share three children together: daughter Sienna Princess, born in 2017; son Win Harrison, born in 2020; and daughter Amora Princess, who arrived in December 2023.

Ciara is also the mother of her eldest son, Future Zahir, from her previous relationship with rapper Future.
