Ms. Baffoe is charged with being an accomplice to controversial Ghanaian TikToker, Ghana Jollof. She was represented by Member of Parliament of Manhyia South constituency, Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah.

The MP expressed happiness over the court’s decision to grant bail to his client. Ms. Baffoe was arrested on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Hansua town near Techiman in the Bono East Region.

Her arrest has gained public attention after reports of her alleged midnight detention surfaced. Ms. Baffoe is a 40-year-old mother of three living in Hansua in the Techiman Municipality.

According to the reports, three men who gave their names as National Security operatives knocked on the door of her residence at around 11:30 pm on September 13.

They allegedly dragged Ms. Baffoe from her house. Her family members had a hard time tracking down her location after the incident. The Bono East Regional Police Command and National Security police also could not confirm the operation at the time.

Her detention’s circumstances drew public attention. The latest court decision grants bail to Ms. Baffoe, who awaits further directions from the court in respect of the allegations levelled against her.

The allegations of her involvement with Ghana Jollof remain before the court. However, the charges have not been proven beyond reasonable doubt by the court. Further proceedings in the case are expected to determine the next steps.
