Pete Davidson has spoken positively about his former girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, praising her resilience, work ethic and ability to succeed in different industries despite constant public scrutiny.
During an appearance on Netflix’s “The Pete Davidson Show” podcast, Davidson told fellow comedian Nikki Glaser that Kardashian inspired him with her ability to remain focused regardless of media attention or criticism. He described the reality television star and entrepreneur as “superhuman”, saying she taught him the importance of continuing with life and work no matter what is being said in the news.
Davidson also expressed admiration for Kardashian’s acting abilities. He recalled how she once mentioned wanting to become an actress and said he was impressed by how naturally she adapted to the profession. According to him, Kardashian has repeatedly proven that she can succeed in any field she chooses to pursue.
Glaser, who stars alongside Kardashian in the upcoming film “Fifth Wheel”, agreed with Davidson’s assessment. She described Kardashian as intelligent, determined and highly motivated, noting that she often thrives when people doubt her abilities. Glaser said Kardashian entered the acting industry knowing that many critics expected her to fail, yet she continued to push forward and prove herself.
Kardashian’s acting career has gained momentum in recent years. She received positive reviews for her role in “American Horror Story: Delicate” in 2023, a performance that helped silence critics who had questioned her talent. She later secured a leading role in Hulu’s “All’s Fair” in 2025, further establishing herself as an actress.
Davidson and Kardashian dated for nine months following Kardashian’s divorce from rapper Kanye West. Their relationship attracted significant media attention before ending in August 2022. Reports at the time suggested that demanding schedules, long-distance challenges and differences in life circumstances contributed to the breakup.
Since then, both have moved on with their lives. Kardashian has been linked to Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton, while Davidson was in a relationship with Elsie Hewitt. The couple welcomed a daughter in December 2025 before reportedly separating in May 2026 due to work commitments.
Despite their breakup, Davidson’s comments suggest that he continues to hold Kardashian in high regard and respects her determination, ambition and ability to overcome challenges while remaining successful across multiple industries.
