Strike

Joint military strikes by the United States and Israel have hit multiple high-value targets in Iran, including sites associated with the nation’s leadership and defense infrastructure in Tehran, according to international reports. The strikes are part of a coordinated operation that marks a significant escalation in the ongoing Iran–Israel–US conflict and have triggered widespread regional retaliation.

Smoke and explosions were visible over Tehran after the strikes, with key locations — including the office of Ali Khamenei — reported to have been targeted. The operation, described by US and Israeli officials as necessary to counter Iran’s nuclear and missile programs, marks the beginning of an intense military campaign.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) swiftly retaliated by launching missile and drone attacks against US military bases and allied assets across the Gulf, including locations in Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates where American forces are stationed. Explosions and air defenses were reported in multiple cities, with sirens sounding and nations intercepting incoming missiles.

The strikes have forced airspace closures, disrupted civilian travel, and drawn international concern over the risk of an expanding war involving multiple states and military alliances.
