Replenishment Concert Moves to Sandton
Gospel Star Joins Line-Up
Zimbabwean gospel singer and songwriter Everton Mlalazi will headline the international contingent at the fifth annual Replenishment Concert in Johannesburg, South Africa, on October 31, 2026. The award-winning vocalist will join leading South African gospel artists for a day of praise, worship and celebration at Sandown High Top Field in Sandton.
The concert is entering a new chapter as it moves from its previous venue, SuperSport Park in Centurion, to Johannesburg for the first time. Organisers are hoping the change will help expand the event’s reach while maintaining its focus on faith, family and gospel music.
Mlalazi Brings International Appeal
Mlalazi has established himself as a recognised voice in African gospel music through his work as a singer, songwriter and worship leader. He founded The Vine Music Ministry in 2014 before developing his career as a solo artist.
His musical journey has included collaborations with prominent gospel performers across the continent and the development of his In the Presence series. His music is known for its emphasis on worship and spiritual connection, making his appearance a key feature of this year’s programme.
His participation also strengthens the concert’s international profile as it brings together performers from different backgrounds within the gospel music scene.
Tbo Touch Promises a Bigger Event
Organiser Tbo Touch says this year’s concert will offer an especially memorable experience for gospel music fans. With the event approaching, he has encouraged audiences to attend for a day centred on collective worship and praise.
“We are a few days away from it. Let us all praise and worship the Lord on October 31st. Just when you think we are done. It’s getting bigger and more special with the world renowned Judith Sephuma for the first time performing at The Replenishment Concert,” he told IOL.
Touch also highlighted Mlalazi as a major attraction on the programme, describing him as the international act for the fifth edition.
He said gospel fans would not want to miss the singer’s performance, adding that the concert continues to grow in scale and significance.
Star-Studded Gospel Line-Up
Mlalazi will share the stage with an extensive selection of South African gospel performers, including Judith Sephuma, Kabelo Mabalane, Joyous Celebration, Xolly Mncwango, Dr Tumi, Nothando Hlophe, Mmatema, Sbu Noah, Jumbo, The Jesus Collective and Khaya Mthethwa, among others.
Sephuma and Mabalane are among the notable additions to this year’s programme. Their inclusion brings established musical talent to a line-up that combines celebrated performers with contemporary gospel voices.
The range of artists is expected to appeal to different generations of gospel music fans, with the concert designed to provide an opportunity for audiences to come together through music and faith.
Concert Enters Fifth Year
Launched in 2022, the Replenishment Concert was established to bring faith, music and family together through a shared experience of praise and worship.
Its first four editions took place at SuperSport Park in Centurion. The move to Sandton marks a significant change for the event as it enters its fifth year and seeks to reach audiences in a new location.
The organisers are positioning the concert as more than a musical performance, with spiritual renewal and community participation remaining central to its identity.
With Mlalazi representing the international contingent and a strong group of local performers joining him, the 2026 edition is expected to maintain the event’s emphasis on worship while introducing a new setting.
Date, Venue and Programme
The 2026 Replenishment Concert will take place on Saturday, October 31, at Sandown High Top Field, at the corner of Rivonia Road and Grayston Drive in Sandton, Johannesburg.
Gates are scheduled to open at 11am, with the programme running from noon until 11pm. The event is billed as a family-friendly day of gospel music, worship and entertainment.
As preparations continue, the organisers are inviting gospel music lovers to join the gathering for a full day of performances and collective praise.
