Efya and Tomi Thomas tied the knot in a private Valentine’s Day ceremony in Accra. The intimate, faith-based event was attended by close family and friends only.

Ghanaian singer Efya, whose real name is Jane Awindor, tied the knot with Nigerian artist Tomi Thomas in a quiet ceremony in Accra on Valentine’s Day.

The wedding happened on February 14, 2026, at a house in Trassaco Phase II, as mentioned in an invitation sent to a few chosen guests. The event was kept small on purpose, seen as a faith-centered get-together with only close family and a few friends attending. Organisers asked people not to post pictures or videos on social media during the event.

People at the ceremony said Efya looked radiant as she exchanged vows. People also noticed a noticeable baby bump, which made the celebration feel even more special and brought out warm feelings from those attending.

The ceremony, which was hosted together by the Awindor and Thomas families, is said to have started around 4 p.m.m. and centered on prayer, keeping personal vows, and giving blessings to family. The event brought together Ghanaian and Nigerian cultural traditions, marking a fresh start for the two artists away from the public eye.
