Reacting to the doll for the first time, Cyrus couldn’t hide her excitement.

“I’m obsessed! Love her!” she said while admiring the finished design.

The singer praised the attention to detail, revealing that she played an active role in shaping the doll’s appearance.

“All the details were so thoughtful and so important. Every little piece of this design was a dream, down to the shape of the shoe, the look, the leather jacket, the belt, the hair dimension and the sunglasses,” she said.

Cyrus also highlighted one accessory that held special meaning for her—the microphone.

She explained that including the microphone was intentional because music remains at the centre of her identity and career.

“It was very important to me that music stays the priority for me and for my purpose. Having this microphone represents not just the music but also using your voice,” she said.

The Barbie is inspired by Cyrus’ striking outfit from her Golden Burning Sun music video. The collectible features a sparkling bralette, a faux-leather two-piece outfit, an oversized jacket, sunglasses, stiletto heels and a matching microphone, closely recreating the memorable look.

Sharing her excitement on Instagram, Cyrus reflected on her childhood memories of playing with Barbie dolls and revealed that collecting them has remained a lifelong passion.

She described the new doll as a personal dream come true and an emotional full-circle moment.

“Barbie represents a personal dream of mine. She’s something I’ll never outgrow because she evolves with me,” Cyrus wrote.

She recalled styling Barbie’s hair and changing her outfits as a child, while explaining that she now proudly keeps her collection in their original boxes as treasured collectibles.
