That is exactly how actor and model Wiseman Zitha feels after starring alongside legendary actress Shoki Mmola in eVOD’s new Sepedi drama series, “Bogaditšong: Sister Wives”, where the pair play mother and son.

Taking to Instagram, Zitha shared a heartfelt tribute to Mmola, describing the experience as a dream come true and revealing that he had admired the actress since childhood.

“This one is deeply personal. I remember watching you on ‘Death of a Queen’ on our little black-and-white TV back in the village, dreaming of moments like this. I just never imagined it would happen so soon,” he wrote.

The actor went on to describe the opportunity as a “full circle moment”, saying it reminded him that some dreams unfold exactly as they are meant to.

“And now, not only do I get to work alongside you, but you got to play my mother. What a full-circle moment. It truly reminds me that our destiny is already written – we’re simply here to align with what has already been destined for us,” he added.

Zitha also thanked Mmola for her generosity, guidance and the valuable lessons she shared with him both on and off set.

“Thank you for playing with me and for sharing your incredible gift. I’ve learned so much from you. I’ve looked up to you for years, especially knowing that you’re one of Limpopo’s finest. You are truly amazing, ses @shock.star. I’m a big fan.

“I honestly don’t think you understand how overwhelmed and grateful I am even writing this. Thank you for making this moment one I’ll carry with me forever.”

Mmola responded warmly in the comment section, praising Zitha’s talent, discipline and dedication to his craft.

“You are such Light… so infectiously delightful to play with … we are yet to see you soar. The respect, love, commitment and discipline you shower your craft with can only grow you blossoming flowers. Now sit back and smell YOUR FLOWERS,” she wrote.

Alongside the tribute, Zitha shared several photos of himself and Mmola on set, including scenes from the drama series where Mmola makes a dramatic entrance during a funeral.

Zitha plays the character of King, the son of Titus and Puseletso Matlou, in “Bogaditšong: Sister Wives”, which premiered on June 12.
