South African platinum-selling singer Zonke will join Grammy-nominated R&B star Tamia as the opening act for her upcoming South African tour during Women’s Month.
Zonke expressed excitement about being part of the celebration, saying she is honoured to share the stage with an artist whose music has inspired audiences across generations.
The award-winning vocalist said the tour will celebrate the power and influence of women through music while creating memorable experiences for fans across South Africa.
Zonke is no stranger to performing alongside international stars. In 2025, she co-headlined a major Women’s Day concert in Johannesburg with Anthony Hamilton and Joe Thomas.
Tamia will be returning to South Africa for the third time after her successful 2023 performances. The singer said South African fans have always shown her tremendous support and that performing during Women’s Month makes the occasion even more meaningful.
The tour will begin at Grand Arena, GrandWest in Cape Town on August 5 and 6, before moving to Durban ICC on August 7 and concluding at SunBet Arena, Time Square on August 10.
The concerts are being promoted by Remoakantse Holdings, which has also announced plans to bring the “Ultimate R&B Experience Tour” to South Africa later this year.
