Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa has been chosen as the UEFA Europa League Player of the Season 2025/26 by UEFA Technical Observer Group.
This recognition was awarded on Thursday after the end of the UEFA Europa League in Turkey on Wednesday evening as Aston Villa emerged as champions of the tournament with a 3-0 win over Freiburg.
In addition to Rogers’ accolade, other players were also awarded special awards in the course of this tournament for their exceptional performance.
Johan Manzambi of Freiburg has been declared as the Revelation of the Season due to his exceptional performance during the tournament.
Emiliano Buendía, who played for Aston Villa, won the Player of the Match award in the final game of the tournament due to his excellent performance in which he scored one goal and provided an assist.
Lastly, Igor Jesus of Nottingham Forest and Petar Stanić of Ludogorets jointly bagged the top-scorer award after netting seven goals each in the league.
