Kefilwe Mabote Takes Luxury Car Passion to the Racetrack

South African socialite, entrepreneur and luxury lifestyle influencer Kefilwe Mabote is expanding her passion for luxury cars with the launch of THE APEX CLUB, an exclusive motorsport and lifestyle event scheduled for November 14 at Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit.

Known for her glamorous lifestyle, designer fashion and appreciation for high-end automobiles, Mabote is moving further into the events industry with an experience combining motoring, fashion, music and entertainment.

The event, organised through her luxury motorsport and lifestyle platform, Kefi Wheel Torque, will take place alongside the South African Endurance Series (SAES) Kyalami 9 Hour, the racing series’ season finale.

For Mabote, the venture represents an opportunity to turn her passion for fast cars and luxury experiences into a larger social event.

She has previously hosted smaller gatherings with friends, bringing together car enthusiasts, fashion lovers and people interested in luxury experiences. THE APEX CLUB marks a bigger step in developing that concept.

What to expect at THE APEX CLUB

Mabote said the event would celebrate the culture and lifestyle surrounding motorsport, rather than focusing solely on the racing.

“Motorsport has always been about more than what happens on the track. It’s about the people, the style and the energy around it. With THE APEX CLUB, we wanted to create a space where South Africa’s love of speed meets its love of culture, fashion and great company,” she said.

She added that the Kyalami 9 Hour provided the perfect setting for the experience, expressing excitement about welcoming guests to what she described as a unique race-day event.
