An Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon has killed three paramedics, with the attack captured on camera amid escalating cross-border violence between Israel and Hezbollah.
The latest strike came just 12 hours after four other medics were reportedly killed in separate Israeli attacks, raising growing concern over the mounting death toll among emergency responders since fighting resumed in March.
According to Lebanese health officials, at least 123 medics have now been killed in Israeli strikes since the conflict reignited earlier this year.
Videos circulating online appeared to show the aftermath of the strike, with emergency vehicles damaged and rescue workers scrambling through debris.
Israel has repeatedly said it targets Hezbollah infrastructure and fighters in southern Lebanon, accusing the armed group of operating within civilian areas. Lebanese authorities and humanitarian organisations, however, have raised alarm over repeated attacks affecting medical workers and healthcare facilities.
The renewed conflict has displaced large numbers of civilians on both sides of the border, while international calls for de-escalation continue to intensify amid fears of a wider regional war.
